Well said brother! This reflects my experience as well. Keep up the good work at CTS!Rev. Carey Hammett
I cannot believe the only solution given to single women is "why not you?" And when has it become sinful to admire traits in another person or traits of a couple? Don't confuse admiration with attraction. They can be mutually exclusive. And to the most offensive point in the article, "Many men and women desiring marriage but remaining single can be matured through the work of the Holy Spirit." Many or all? Seems to me the Holy Spirit is not hindered by a person's marital status.
I'd like to read that deleted post. Is it posted in another place?
I am a single woman...and I actually found your article interesting and thought provoking. I don't know if I would agree with all aspects of it, but I came back to look it up because I mentioned it to someone the other day as helpful in thinking through some false expectations women place on men...and vice versa. Anywho....hurting single women can be very sensitive...and very vicious...so I guess its good you removed it...but this is one single 31 year old who was hoping to actually read it again, and not for bashing purposes. haha.
